Let's make it legal!

The Celebrant bit - I make sure all the legal documentation gets completed, signed and lodged according to the Marriage Act 1961, which includes:

Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM)
Declaration of no legal impediment to marriage
Official Marriage Certificate(s)
Commemorative Marriage Certificate
Other legal documentation depending on your circumstances.

The loved-up couples bit - You have to complete the forms honestly and provide ID evidence, and any other evidence required depending on your circumstances.
You have to ...
Complete the NOIM, we all check it, we all sign it-at least 1 month before your marriage date, you give it to me, then this is officially lodged.
Sign the Declaration of no legal impediment to marriage BEFORE you get married (usually a few days before the marriage takes place but can be minutes before, if you want to cut it fine!)
Brush your hair & look good (oops - that's not a legal requirement!)
Listen to the legal bits! - Say the legal bits! - Sign the legal bits!
Kiss, celebrate and live happily ever after (that's highly recommended - but not a legal requirement - although it should be!)

Once I have lodged all the documents after you have got married, you can then apply for your official copy from Births, Deaths & Marriages Registry Office - Perth.

I am also an experienced Funeral Celebrant.
At a time of so much grief, it is often overwhelming to plan a fitting and beautiful service for your loved one, so I'm here to help.

Your chosen funeral home will be able to assist you in all elements of the funeral arrangements and be able to answer all of your questions.

As a Celebrant I can provide guidance and support and lead the service just how you wish, sharing your cherished thoughts and memories. I can guide you in writing the Eulogy and choosing poems and readings that you may want to share.

I would be honoured to help you say farewell to a precious life once lived.
